Kenjutsu
The style of Kenjutsu we study is called Katori Shinto Ryu, which is one of the
oldest Japanese arts. Our group studies directly under Patrick
Nichols Sensei from the Dodgeville, WI area, and we all belong
to Tetsutaka Sugawara Sensei's group from Japan.
We study the drawing of the sword (iaijutsu) as well as paired katas with wooden
weapons.
